With more than 30 years of experience in the record pressing industry, Cyclone offer high quality manufacture of vinyl records in 7 inch, 10 inch and 12 inch formats with some of the fastest lead times available. We provide a wide range of vinyl pressing services, including mastering for vinyl, as well as a kaleidoscope of coloured vinyl and special effects vinyl options that’ll ensure your records stand out from the crowd! We offer both lacquer cutting and DMM mastering for the pinnacle of vinyl perfection, as well as super premium heavyweight vinyl for 12” records. Single, double and gatefold sleeves are all available, including multi-disc boxed sets – with order quantities starting from 250 units upwards. Exact specifications can be supplied upon application and should you need any assistance in preparing your artwork, our designers are on hand to help you with any questions or provide you with a complete design service if required. If you are designing artwork yourself, we strongly recommend that you download our Supplying Artwork Guide as it offers detailed information on how to set-up artwork correctly for print.

Key points to remember when supplying artwork are:

  • Always include a colour proof so that we know what the end result should look like
  • Include all fonts used (both screen and printer fonts)
  • If you are using Illustrator we recommend that you convert all fonts to outlines
  • Make sure that all of your scans and image files are CMYK colour, 300dpi at reproduction
  • Always include 3mm bleed and trim marks.

Proofs

Before any order is committed to print, we will supply you with PDF proofs for final approval – hard copy match proofs are available on request as a cost extra option.

7" Vinyl pressing

The classic 7” 45RPM single. Depending upon the musical genre, seven-inch records hold around 5 minutes of playing time per side, making them ideal for singles. Pressed on premium grade 50 gram vinyl, we offer not only black vinyl, but a vast array of coloured vinyl and special effect colour mixed vinyl options.

10" Vinyl pressing

10” Records stand out as the classic EP or mini LP format. Available with either 33RPM or 45RPM playing speeds, ten-inch records can hold around 14 minutes of playing time per side at 33RPM, or 10 minutes per side at 45RPM. This makes them perfect for an EP release, or mini LP with a more unique vibe than the more common 7” and 12” formats.

12" Vinyl pressing

12” Vinyl LP records are the standard album or Long Play format, with a capacity of around forty minutes playing time, again depending upon the type of music and tonal content. Available in both standard weight and super premium heavyweight vinyl, we offer a multitude of coloured vinyl and special vinyl options including eco-mix, neon, and even glow in the dark vinyl.

Gatefold Sleeve

We offer dual or triple-panel gatefold covers, tailored for 7-inch, 10-inch, or 12-inch records. Our sleeves with multiple openings are ideal for double or triple vinyl sets and crafted to include additional items such as posters and lyrics inserts. For single record releases, we have a closed left-panel option for a flawless display.

Coloured Vinyl

As well as classic black vinyl records, Cyclone offer a multitude of coloured vinyl and special vinyl options including both semi-transparent and opaque colours, splatter effect, colour-in colour, marbled vinyl and galaxy effect vinyl to name a few. We also offer picture discs, UV printed and colour etched records, taking your creative possibilities to the next level.

Special finishes

Maximise your vinyl’s impact with our extensive range of bespoke printed sleeves. We offer a multitude of matt and gloss finishes, embossing, hot foiling, lamination and UV varnishes, including Pantone spot colours and much more.
