Why seven?

Seven-inch records typically hold up to 5 minutes of music per side at 45 RPM. They’re smaller and have less capacity than 10-inch (up to 15 minutes per side at 33 RPM) and 12-inch records (up to 22 minutes per side at 33 RPM), making them ideal for singles.

How to order?

  • Click on the appropriate artwork template/s and use this to create your sleeve & labels
  • Go to the 7″ Vinyl pricing page, choose your option, click buy
  • Once you have paid you’ll get instructions and a link to upload your artwork & masters
  • We will liaise with you as you will still have the option to add custom finishes which we can quote for
  • You only need to pay the final amount once you have approved the test pressings and artwork for production

Exact specifications can be supplied upon application and should you need any assistance in preparing your artwork, our designers are on hand to help you with any questions or provide you with a complete design service if required. If you are designing artwork yourself, we strongly recommend that you download our Supplying Artwork Guide as it offers detailed information on how to set-up artwork correctly for print.

Key points to remember when supplying artwork are:

  • Always include a colour proof so that we know what the end result should look like
  • Include all fonts used (both screen and printer fonts)
  • If you are using Illustrator we recommend that you convert all fonts to outlines
  • Make sure that all of your scans and image files are CMYK colour, 300dpi at reproduction
  • Always include 3mm bleed and trim marks.

Proofs

Before any order is committed to print, we will supply you with PDF proofs for final approval – hard copy match proofs are available on request as a cost extra option.
